Megan, Veterinary Technician

Megan is from Chicago, IL. She was a combat medic in the Army. She ended up in Hawaii, where she went to Windward Community College to become a veterinary technician. She started her vet tech career in 2010, for a 24-hour emergency hospital. She, her husband and their 3 children moved to Texas. Since then, she has worked at several vet clinics and was a shelter supervisor at an animal shelter in Lufkin. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, hiking, and reading.

Cindy, Receptionist

Cindy has been married to her husband, Dan, for 36 years – so clearly, they both have mastered patience. They raised two boys and enjoy being grandparents to two, which she thinks is great because you can spoil them and send them home. She has worked at a veterinary office for 32 years, so she officially speaks fluent “pet”. When Cindy is not in the clinic, she is outside fishing, hunting, gardening, or tending to her chickens – yes, she proudly owns the title of “chicken lady”. It’s a simple life, a busy life, and a good one… just don’t schedule anything before her coffee.

Hannah, Veterinary Technician

Hannah is from Troup, Texas and is a current pre-veterinary student at Stephan F. Austin State University. She loves interacting with clients and their pets. She was a Twirl-O-Jack for two years and loves spending time with her cat, Iris. She hopes to attend veterinary school and return to Nacogdoches as a mixed animal veterinarian.
